About

My name is Kasia Fink and this is a collection of my most fancied thinkings – or Finkings, if you will.

Kasia rhymes with “Basha” and my last name isn’t actually Fink, but Fink is shorter and cuter and more anonymous so let’s just pretend it is.

I live in Vancouver, Canada with my lovely and very indulgent husband and our toddler Tooshie. Our family will expand by one more son — dubbled Toodles — in August. I know, ‘Tooshie’ and ‘Toodles’…  if that doesn’t tell you something about how things go down in our house, then I don’t know what.

I’m trying to figure out how to be a mother and be myself at the same time. And I believe that while not every day may be through-and-though good, there is good in every day.

Thanks for reading along.

Say howdy / bonjour / dzien dobry!

If you have a thought that’s just way too amazing for a puny comment box, drop me an email at kasiafink at gmail. It would make my day.

I just read this about me and you are too cute, I love it. I traded my short last name for a very long last name that always gets shortened to “ish” That’s why I went with Style-ish. :)

“For the first 30 years of my life, I was Kasia Killer-long-unpronounceable-surname-ending-in-’ski’. ”

The above sentence from your profile applies directly to me too! From one Kasia +ski to another, sto lat!

I love your blog. I have been following you on Weddingbee since I said “Yes, I will marry you.” I actually wanted to be a bee, but after the first rejection didn’t try again since I was too close to my I-do’s.

I just found your blog; I wanted to say hello, and you inspire me! What an awesome about me page.
I had a childhood experience similar to your story of Oly, only mine was a bunny. And it was Easter. I’ll leave it at that. :/

I wish you all the best in your future endeavors; congrats on your Olympian appearance! (What an amazing experience!)
